Silvia

Based in London, Silvia consults with international organisation on strategic communication, stakeholder relations and social media.

Her background includes reporting from Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union for major British and German print media as well as managing communication for Brussels-based international trade associations.

With 18 years of experience, Silvia specialises in advising international institutions and multilaterals on internal and external communication, change and restructuring programs, policy-driven communication and social media campaigns.

Her clients have included the European Parliament, EUROCONTROL (the European organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation), the European Investment Bank, the European Training Foundation (EU agency), USAID,  the Chilean Economic Development Agency and the World Health Organisation.

Silvia is the author of International Communications Strategy – Developments in cross-cultural communications, PR and social media, published by Kogan Page and nominated for the FT Goldman Sachs Awards.  She is a regular speaker at international conferences.

Silvia  is a Freeman in the Worshipful Company of Marketors and a member of  the International Alliance for Women and the Arab International Women’s Forum. From 2007 to 2010, she served as director on the Executive Board of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

Raised in Italy and educated in Austria, Silvia is fluent in English, German, French and Italian and has a good working knowledge of Czech.
