Hi Silvia, how irritating for you to be lectured on journalism when you are such an experienced journalist. It got me thinking about how you’ve taken to blogging with such ease and passion, while having a solid journalism background. It would be interesting if you had time to do a blog post comparing writing as a journo compared to writing as a blogger.

that’s a good point about the Kindle and book covers. They will have to come up with something digital that creates the same experience as looking at the cover of a book.

This is a great find, Silvia. I haven’t gotten a glossy annual report in years and I must say I miss them. The pdf version — same content online — is not the solution. They’re tedious to scroll through.
There was an article in yesterday’s IHT (I think it was the IHT and I think it was yesterday) about how seeing someone reading a book with a book cover that catches your eye can influence you into reading the book, but someone reading somthing on a Kindle does not.
